Collison Drilling specialises in the installation of underground pipes for civil and utilities construction using horizontal directional drilling (HDD). We can safely drill under roadways, footpaths, buildings and train lines, with minimal disturbance to the existing ground.
Our HDD services include:
• Potholing and locating existing underground infrastructure prior to drilling, using electronic equipment and vacuum excavation techniques
• Installation of pipe for cables, gas, water or waste water
• Installation of pits over the installed conduits for cable hauling purposes and housing of joints
• Carting or removing spoil and materials to and from site
• Cable and pipe detection services.
Collison Drilling uses cutting-edge drilling technology to minimise disruption and maximise precision.
• T 2020 Ditch witch Drill machine - 120m drill pipe - able to install up to 4 x 100mm pipes in the same hole up to 100m.
• Vermeer 800 Gallon Vac truck - with 2500 psi water pressure for Hydro Excavation.
• Kubota excavator with tipper for carting and removal of soil to or from site.
• Ditch witch 750 tracker system for locating drill head up to 10m deep.
• Ditch witch pipe and cable locator - 250R for underground services detection.
• Pipe welding and butt fusion equipment used for welding HDPE pipe.
